The Oregon senior claimed the first outdoor national championship title of his career Thursday night in Fayetteville, Ark.
Arkansas’ Shawn Forrest and Liberty’s Sam Chelanga threw all they had at Oregon’s golden boy, but he put down the hammer and pulled away easily in the closing two laps.
