A total of four new world-leading marks were recorded at the Netherlands’ premier meet.While the biggest-name athletes present failed to achieve their goals–with Ethiopian greats Haile Gebrselassie failing to break his one-hour world record and Kenenisa Bekele dropping out of the 1500m–several others rose to the occasion and set new 2009 standards in their events.
