Beijing Olympic silver medalist has withdrawn from the world championships.

American pole vault hopeful Jenn Stuczynski will be unable to compete at the world championships next week in Berlin. Stuczynski was the silver medalist in Beijing last year and had high hopes for a gold medal in Berlin. The number-two pole vaulter of all-time sights a recent in jury as the reason for her withdrawal and has been replaced on the team by Jillian Schwartz.
