Marathon world record holder will look for her fourth world title at the distance.
British marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe will run at the 2009 half marathon world championships in Birmingham, England. Radcliffe will take the streets in front of her home nation in hopes of winning her fourth world half marathon championship, and first since 2003.
Radcliffe was unable to compete at the recent world marathon championships due to her slow recovery from bunion surgery earlier this year. The world record holder at the marathon won the New York City half marathon in August, in convincing fashion.
