Why does Dean have to peform another PR stunt? He is taking away the publicity from both the elite runners and the mid-packers with stories as, or more compelling, than Dean's. Now before you say "What Dean is doing is great if he can motivate even one person to run and lead a healthier lifestyle." I agree with that statement. I just don't agree that he should have to do it on raceday. I am not impressed by his 4 hour back-to-back marathoning ability. It's not that difficult to run bar below one's potential for hours and hours. It's A LOT harder to be Sammy Wanjiru or Scott Jurek. Give credit where credit is due.
