Athletics South Africa has been under scrutiny with Semenya row.

South African athletics chief has officially been suspended by the South African Olympic Committee in response to his handling of the Caster Semenya gender controversy. Leonard Chuene, the chief of Athletics South Africa, has been under fire ever since the Berlin world championships.

The IAAF is yet to announce the results of the gender test they ordered Semenya to undergo after her win in the women’s 800m at the world championships. Chuene has admitted that he lied about the gender tests that were performed on Semenya prior to the world championships.
