Dr. Rose determined during the course of his amino acid experiments in 1952 not only which amino acids are essential, but how much. He found only 2.5% of calories need to be from protein, but just to be safe he doubled it to 5%, which matches the WHO recommendation. Nearly all starches have more than 5% protein, so by adding some green veggies it is difficult to go under 10% kcal from protein. Yet you recommend 25% kcal from protein?!
