Masai, Cheruiyot Favorites At Madrid 10K

The San Silvestre Vallecana 10K is the last major international road race of the year, taking place on New Year’s Eve in Madrid, Spain.
Kenyans Moses Masai and Vivian Cheruiyot are favored to win on what is expected to be a cold and rainy New Year’s Eve. Masai, just 23, is the reigning World Championships 10,000m bronze medalist and Cheruiyot is the current 5000m world champion.
