Felix Named 2009 Los Angeles Sportswoman Of The Year

This is the second time in three years she will recieve the honor.
American 200m world champion Allyson Felix has been named the 2009 Los Angeles Sportswoman of the Year by the Los Angeles Sports Council. In 2009 Felix won her third consecutive world 200m championship. Felix will be joined, at the awards ceremony, by Los Angeles Lakers star Pau Gasol, winner of the men’s award. Felix won the award in 2007, following her second world 200m championship.
