Puma Complete Ventis ($100) — Cousin: ASICS Gel Cumulus 10—pumarunning.com
The Ventis provides a close fit that was rather tight across the laces and would have pressured our testers’ feet but for the roomy toe box and flexible upper that loosened with the miles. With an enhanced midsole, the heel and midfoot impact was dampened effectively with a little less up front. The stability was considered ideal by our test team.
