The 2010 Adidas Grand Prix has announced more big names to join the already star studded list of participants for the June 12th Diamond League event. Recently crowned 3000m indoor world champion Bernard Lagat of the United States will toe the line in the 1500m at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island. Lagat holds the American record of 3:29.40 for 1500m.

Also added to the event are mult-event specialists Hyleas Fountain of the US and Jessica Ennis of Great Britain. The two will battle in a three-event contest that includes the long jump, shot put and 100m hurdles. Fountain is the reigining Olympic silver medalist of the heptathlon and Ennis is the recently crowned indoor world champion for the pentathlon.

Already announced for the event is a match-up between the two fastest men ever over 100m, Usain Bolt of Jamaica and Tyson Gay of the US.
