Ethiopia’s Teyba Erkesso Wins 2010 Boston Marathon

Ethiopia’s Teyba Erkesso was the top female finisher in Monday’s Boston Marathon.

Erkesso won the 114th Boston Marathon in a time of 2:26:11 (unofficial), just ahead of Russia’s Tatyana Pushkareva (2:26:14). Salina Kosgei (2:28:35) came out of top in a tight race for third with Ethiopia’s Waynishet Girma. Girma laned in fourth with a time of 2:28:36.

Italian Bruna Genovese took fifth in 2:29:12.
