Book has received critical praise.

How has running changed your life? If you’re like author Matt McCue the answer will immediately come to mind. His new book, An Honorable Run revolves around the themes of chasing dreams, perseverance, and the importance of mentors. Growing up in Iowa, McCue was a blue-collar underdog who dreamed of running for the national champion Colorado Buffaloes. An Honorable Run chronicles his journey from the quiet Midwest countryside to the towering peaks of Boulder. In the end, his years of running teach him what is truly important.
McCue has spent the last five months touring the country and sharing his inspirational presentation everywhere from New York to Nike Headquarters in Oregon. He’ll be speaking at Top to Top Running in Santa Monica on Wednesday, April 14 at 7:30 pm and at Phiddipides Encino in Encino on Thursday, April 15 at 7 pm. Both events are free and open to the public. For more details, go to
