Report says CEO could be ousted as early as next month.

According to an article Tuesday on SuperSport.com, USA Track & Field CEO Doug Logan was told last week by USATF president Stephanie Hightower and Jeff Darman of the organization’s Board of Directors, that he must show improvement by mid-August or face being ousted from the position he’s held for the last two years.

“We have an obligation to evaluate our CEO,” Hightower, a former world-class hurdler and USATF’s president since December 2008, was quoted as saying in the article. ”We started that process about a month and a half ago. We went over our findings at a board meeting in Des Moines (during June’s national championships there).”
