Oregon senior will race in a Duck uniform for the final time.

Andrew Wheating, a 2008 U.S. Olympian and multiple NCAA track champion at the University of Oregon, has been added to the star-studded field that will compete on Saturday in the Bowerman Mile at the 36th Annual Prefontaine Classic.

Wheating, who did not compete at last weekend’s U.S. championships in Des Moines, will face perhaps the greatest field of milers ever assembled on Saturday. The entry list is led by 2008 Olympic 1,500-meter gold medalist, Asbel Kiprop of Kenya, and features seven of the top 10 ranked milers in the world last year.
