Longtime Nike coach now developing middle-distance runners on the East Coast.

Frank Gagliano, who is best known for guiding the Nike Farm Team in Palo Alto, California and later the Oregon Track Club Elite team in Eugene, Oregon, has recently formed a yet-to-be-named post-collegiate training group based out of Rutgers Universty in New jersey.

The man widely known in track & field circles as “Gags” has pulled together a talented group of athletes, including top American 800 and 1,500-meter runner Erin Donahue and steeplechaser Delilah DeCrescenzo, along with recent Seton Hall alum Rob Novak, a middle-distance specialist, and former Providence College mile standout Max Smith.
