Big names will do battle on Sunday in Providence.

American record holder Molly Huddle of Providence, R.I., and Aaron Braun of Flagstaff, Ariz., lead the field of entrants for the USA 5K Championships Sunday in Providence, R.I.

Huddle, who set the American record for 5,000 meters this summer at the Belgacom Memorial van Damme meeting, will be the overwhelming hometown favorite but could see challenges from the likes of Sara Hall of Big Bear Lake, Calif. and Renee Metivier Baillie of Boulder, Colo.

Braun, who finished fourth in the men’s 5,000 meters at the USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, will be in search of his first U.S. title. Challengers for the crown will include Braun’s adidas McMillan Elite teammate Jordan Horn and Ben Bruce of Eugene, Ore.
