Ugandan outsprints Kipchoge takes men’s 5,000 meters.

It was a tactical affair until the very end, but Ugandan Moses Kipsiro came out on top with a 13:31.25 triumph in the men’s 5,000 meters at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India on Wednesday.

Kipsiro used a late kick to sneak past reigning world champion Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya by seven one-hundredths of a second. Kipchoge’s countryman, Mark Kiptoo, took third in 13:32.58.
