The man made famous for losing 245 pounds by eating fast-food sub sandwiches will run his first marathon on November 7.

Jared Fogel, Subway’s weight-loss poster child,  has apparently been receiving a lot of high-profile help for his first marathon with the likes of Meb Keflezighi and Michael Phelps sharing some of their training secrets with him. Keeping his weight down hasn’t been easy for the 32-year-old Fogle, who regained 40 pounds earlier this year. In order to prepare for New York, he’s been running four times a week (and eating Subway-brand sandwiches).
