Toomer Hoping To Raise 20K For Charity In NYC

Former NFL player aims to pass 20,000 people at $1 apiece at NYC Marathon.
Former New York Giant Amani Toomer will run the ING New York City Marathon on November 7 in an effort to raise money for The New York Road Runners youth running programs
In a partnership with Timex, Toomer will receive $1 for every person he passes in the race. His goal is to pass 20,000 people in under 4 hours.
“They all think I’m crazy,” he says of his former football teammates.
