HoustonHopefuls.com hopes to showcase older Trials qualifiers.

Newly created website Houston Hopefuls.com is seeking to shine a light on an under-covered area of running: Masters-level women who are hoping to qualify for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in Houston, Texas by running under 2:47:00. According to the site’s founder, Julie Thelkeld, the site’s mission is to “present interviews with these women about the planning, hard work and sacrifice that goes into what for most of them is a multi-year endeavour.”
