Freed Chilean miner Edison Pena, who spent 69 days trapped underground in the San Jose mine, will run Sunday’s New York City Marathon as a special guest of the New York Road Runners. While trapped underground, he and his fellow miners used Gatorade products to keep themselves nourished. Pena spent some time at the Gatorade booth at health & fitness expo on Saturday before the race. Photos by Steve Boyle.
