2010 Winter Running Shoe Review

underarmour.com

Under Armour continues to make running shoes with enveloping uppers that wrap the foot with a snug hold. These really impressed the test team. This second round of the Apparition was firm in the midsole; and although it felt like a responsive shoe, testers said the Apparition didn’t flex well with their feet. One tester was reminded of the feeling of low-cut court shoes and said that the absorption and toe push-off didn’t feel like that of a running shoe. The fit, although a little on the long side, has a high arch and is generally comfortable; and the structure guides the foot without so much motion control that it alters an efficient stride.
