Competitor’s T.J. Murphy To Speak At Tri Club Event

Competitor Magazine’s T.J. Murphy to speak to the Golden Gate Tri Club in San Francisco Tuesday night.

T.J. Murphy, Competitor magazine Editorial Director and former Editorial Director for Triathlete and Inside Triathlon, will be speaking to the Golden Gate Triathlon Club 7pm Tuesday evening, March 29, at the Sports Basement in San Francisco’s Presidio.

A founding member of the GGTC, Murphy will be talking about triathlon and the history of the sport, as well as commenting on his recent reporting from the world of Crossfit Endurance, diet, and new approaches to high-performance endurance training.  In attendance will be Kelly Starrett, DPT, co-owner of Crossfit San Francisco and the subject of a feature profile in the March issue of Competitor.

Also in attendance will be ultra-runner and Ironman triathlete Brian MacKenzie, founder of Crossfit Endurance, the subject of a feature story in the February issue of Triathlete magazine. The event is open to the public. GGTC members, including any new signups, will be eligible for a 10% discount on any purchases made the evening of March 29 at the Sports Basement.
