Road miles are increasing in popularity, from new runners all the way through to the professional ranks. Tonight marks the U.S. 1-Mile Road Championships as part of the Medtronic TC 1-Mile in downtown Minneapolis. On the men’s side, two-time defending champion David Torrence is back to defend his crown. He’ll be challenged by marathoner Ryan Hall, a late entry to the race who is less than a month removed from his fourth-place finish at the Boston Marathon. On the women’s side, Hall’s wife Sara is the pre-race favorite, but she’ll be challenged by former Mammoth Track Club teammate Morgan Uceny of Mammoth Lakes, Calif. Take part in our Competitor.com poll below and let us know who you think will be crowned national champions tonight in Minnesota!
