He will be competing on the American squad in the International Team Challenge.

The Daily Camera is reporting that American half marathon record-holder Ryan Hall is going to be racing in the Bolder Boulder on Memorial Day. Hall has been attending the event as a spectator for the past two years. He last competed in it in 2008 where he finished a disappointing 14th with a time of 30:07.

Don Janicki, the pro-athlete coordinator for the race, confirmed the news, saying that  Hall will compete on Team USA for the International Team Challenge.

It`s huge,” Janicki said. “Obviously he’s in high demand because of his profile. We`re just excited for him to come and compete.”

Referring to Hall’s lackluster performance in 2008, Janicki added: “I think he always had it in the back of his mind that he wanted to redeem himself.”

Hall will join Aaron Braun and James Carney on Team USA, which takes on the likes of Ethiopia and Kenya.
