This is simply not true says Dr. Maharm, the official doctor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon series. “The myth is if you wait until you’re thirsty, you are already dehydrated,” explained Dr. Maharm.  Instead, drink for thirst and you are less likely to be over hydrated or have stomach troubles.
