CrossFit Competition–San Diego

In September ESPN2 showcased the Reebok CrossFit Games–a brand new form of multisport competition combining events of strength, stamina, endurance and power. At the grassroots level, local competitions, based on the CrossFit Games, have begun to multiply. On November 12 in San Diego three local CrossFit affiliates, CrossFit Elysium, CrossFit Mission Gorge and CrossFit 858, gathered for a day of individual and team competitions. Mario Fraioli

Mario Fraioli is the senior producer at Competitor.com. He was a cross country All-American at Stonehill College, has run 2:28 in the marathon, and coaches the Prado Women's Racing Team in San Diego.
