With more than 30,000 finishers each year (marathon and half marathon) this is one of the largest races in the country, and also one of the most exciting. With bands playing on 28 different stages along the course this might be a good race to ditch the iPod. If the full marathon isn’t your thing, there’s a popular half marathon option as well. The Tennessee terrain is anything but flat, so be prepared to get your hills on!
