K-Swiss Launches Stand Up To Cancer Collection

Major retailers will begin selling the line in August.

K-Swiss has invited runners to “Stand Up To Cancer” with its newly launched, co-branded SU2C footwear and apparel collection to help benefit Stand Up to Cancer’s efforts in accelerating the pace of groundbreaking cancer research.

The California sports label has collaborated with the charitable organization to create a line of running and lifestyle shoes, as well as performance and triathlon apparel, currently available online. K-Swiss will switch up the collection each season and donate $5 from the sale of each specially designed SU2C product to Stand Up To Cancer.

Major retailers, such as The Finish Line, will begin selling the collection in August.

“Collaborating with Stand Up To Cancer gives us a valuable opportunity to support, and help inspire a movement to save lives,” said David Nichols, president of K-Swiss. “We are excited to create a unified front across the running community and encourage people, from their first 5k or first triathlon, to race for a world without cancer.”

Additionally, K-Swiss and Stand Up To Cancer will launch Team Stand Up To Cancer at key racing events throughout the year, including the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series and Ironman triathlon events, in which participants can run on behalf of Team SU2C. Participants will have the option to set up a fundraising page on CrowdRise.com to encourage family and friends to donate.

“Stand Up To Cancer is about collaboration and acceleration,” said Sue Schwartz, co-founder of SU2C. “We are excited to work with K-Swiss on this new performance apparel collection, as well as on Team SU2C because it gives us an opportunity to galvanize the public at a grassroots level to generate funds for cancer research.”
