With the fall season right around the corner, it’s only natural to crave a cinnamon spiced latte or a slice of pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie is my kryptonite during this time of year — I’d eat it 24/7 if I could.
As an alternative, I make pumpkin pie protein shakes, which taste like chilled pumpkin pie in a glass and are a great creamy post-run snack or a quick liquid breakfast when I’m crunched for time.
Try it out:
Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake
1 cup vanilla soy or almond milk
1 cup ice
½ cup pumpkin pie filling
4 oz. Greek yogurt
1 tsp Mila superfood or chia seeds
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
2 scoops EAS vanilla protein powder
