The 30-year-old has not been heard from since leaving his home at 8 p.m. Monday

A Missouri man that went out for a run Monday night has been reported missing by his family after failing to return home.

As of Wednesday morning, he still had not been found, despite police dogs picking up his scent on Tuesday night.

Chad Rogers, who lives in Liberty, Mo., was wearing only black running shorts, red shoes and an orange visor when he left his home at 8 p.m.

The Liberty High School cross country coach is trying to put together a large search party that will head out and run Tuesday night, looking for the 30-year-old Rogers.

Rogers was reported to be an experienced runner who has completed the Boston Marathon. He has a wife and young son.

The family has contacted police and local hospitals to no avail.
