Man ‘Runs’ Quad Cities Marathon While Juggling

And he was running backwards the entire time.

One runner from Pensacola, Fla. did something over the weekend that we admit has never crossed our mind.

He completed a marathon while running backwards. And juggling.

Joe Salter “ran” the Quad Cities Marathon on Sunday in almost six hours.

“The crowd support just gives you that extra energy,” Salter told WQAD.com. “It’s been a bucket list goal for me to do this.”

Salter, whose father was an entertainer and a juggler on a riverboat in the Mississippi River, has also finished a triathlon while juggling.

“I want to do something that’s never been done before,” Salter said.

As far as we can tell, he’s done that. Although we’re not sure if there’s an official entry in the record books about this feat.
