The repeat gold medalist is adamant that he’s clean.

Mo Farah is a double Olympic gold medalist, and he won both the 5,000m and 10,000m events at the world championships in Moscow last month.

Not surprisingly, Farah, a Somali-born British citizen, has been asked the question about performance-enhancing drugs.

“One hundred percent I wouldn’t,” Farah said about doping to the Mirror in a recent profile. “I know I’m clean and that’s what you need to know. I work hard at what I do and what I have achieved is down to hard work and big sacrifices.”

Farah made these remarks while he was training at high altitude in the French Pyrenees. He noted that he has had 41 blood profiles taken.

“They take a blood sample and keep it and if the profile changes in future it shows up and you get caught,” he continued. “Britain has the best system by far. I wish other countries would follow how we do things.”
