USATF Partners With Team Red White & Blue

Volunteers from the veterans organization will be assisting at the .US National Road Championships.

The governing body of track and field in the U.S., the USATF, has announced a new partnership with veterans non-profit Team Red White & Blue (RWB).

According to the release, RWB members will be volunteering at the .US National Road Championships that take place on Nov. 17 in Arlington, Va.

“We are honored and proud to partner with Team Red White and Blue,” said USATF CEO Max Siegel. “The .US National Road Racing Championships is a true national event, and having Team RWB adds to the national celebration. We hope everyone taking part in the race will join us in thanking each Team RWB member we see volunteering along the course for their service to our country.”

The Championships consist of a 12K race, a 5K run/walk, and a 1/2-mile kids race.

The USATF is offering a $100,000 total prize purse for the event.
