Mario Fraioli, Senior Editor: I headed back up to San Francisco Running Company for their weekly group run and bagged 22 miles on the trails. This was my longest run to date in preparation for next month’s Way Too Cool 50K. It was a beautiful morning and the time passed quickly as we cracked jokes and swapped stories in between climbing and descending the many hills of the Marin Headlands.
Caitlyn Pilkington, Associate Editor: I didn’t do much other than a beach stroll in the early evening and some spontaneous arm exercises later.
Jason Devaney, Associate Web Editor: This morning, my fiancée and I met some people at our local triathlon shop for a run. The bike/run trail was still snow-covered so we turned off that and ran in a beautiful park on hard-packed gravel. It was a fantastic run. 4.99 miles – I should have run to the next building to make it five.
Allison Pattillo, Contributing Editor: Today was a powder day beyond compare. I skied until my legs were like noodles and followed up with a good stretch session.
