This mascot forgot to jump over the hurdles and ran into a stack of them instead.
Jamaican hurdler and Olympic champion Malaine Walker took first in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2009 IAAF World Championships in Berlin, Germany. Not only did she win, but she ran 52.42 seconds, beating her previous Olympic record in the 400-meter hurdles of 52.64 seconds.
Walker was so ecstatic about her win that she decided to jump on some dude in a bear suit for a victory lap. Turns out her lap was short lived and meant landing on her butt. However, Walker didn’t seem phased one bit and gave the costumed bear a hug for the unexpected ride anyway. Next time, think twice before jumping on a large and bumbling mascot!
