The two parties sign a multi-year, first-of-its-kind deal.
The Atlanta Track Club, host of the famed Peachtree Road Race, has partnered with Mizuno in a long-term deal.
Starting Jan. 1, 2015, Mizuno will serve as the official footwear and apparel partner of the club. The brand will be a visible presence at the ATC’s running events and programs, along with its merchandise. The partnership is the first of its kind for the club and a first for Mizuno in North America.
As part of the deal, the club will offer Mizuno-branded apparel and footwear to its members and to the public in running and sporting goods stores in the region. Mizuno will also be the exclusive footwear and apparel provider for the Peachtree Road Race, an annual 10K held on July 4. The race is the largest 10K in the world.
“As the Atlanta Track Club enters its next 50 years, it does so with the support of Mizuno, one of the world’s most respected running brands,” said Rich Kenah, Executive Director of Atlanta Track Club, in a press release. “Mizuno will help our club enhance every program and service that we currently offer to our members and participants and allow us to launch new initiatives designed to get more people moving.”

The alignment of our organization’s philosophy and purpose made this partnership a natural decision for Mizuno. We are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead and to be able to make a lasting impact in Atlanta with Atlanta Track Club.”
