Smack From The Back: 2009 Gore-Tex Transrockies Run Blog
Thomas Miller is going to be heading out to tackle the 2009 Gore-Tex Transrockies Run and will be updating us daily on his travels, sights and race news. Thomas will look to tackle his third consecutive Gore-Tex Transrockies Run in 2009 with his wife as part of their team called “Team Do Da Do.” Also out on the trails will be well known ultramarathoner such as Dean Karnazes and Hal Koerner.
Offering his first hand accounts of the race Thomas will give us some spectacular photos and insights on what it is like to tackle some of the toughest terrain in the Rockies. The race runs from August 24th-28th so be sure to check back each day right here for updates, photos and certainly some wild stories as Thomas makes the trek from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.
