2015 Western States Endurance Run

The annual Western States 100 took place June 27-28, as 254 runners completed the 100.2-mile trek from Squaw Valley to Auburn, Calif. Rob Krar of Flagstaff, Ariz., won for the second straight year, breaking the tape in 14 hours, 48 minutes and 59 seconds—the second fastest time in race history. Olympian Magdalena Boulet won the women’s race—her first 100-miler—in 19:05:21. All photos by Matt Trappe.
